Job summary

Flower, a next-gen energy company, seeks a Senior Security Officer to serve as the company-wide security authority. You will oversee people, information, technology, products, physical environments and supply chains, ensuring risk-aware growth and compliance.

You’ll translate evolving security requirements into priorities, coordinate across functions, and build a culture of security awareness. Hybrid in-office work in Stockholm area supported.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience across roles that build toward senior security leadership.
• Broad security judgement across cyber, physical, people, product and supply-chain security.
• Hands-on technical foundation with ability to move fast while staying secure.
• Experience in a technology-led or scaling business with regulatory awareness.
• Strong risk judgment balancing security, speed, cost and ambition.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder credibility.

Responsibilities

• Set and evolve Flower's company-wide security direction, priorities and operating model.
• Maintain a clear view of security risks and obligations as markets and technology evolve.
• Act as Flower's central point of security expertise for leaders to translate requirements into priorities.
• Define escalation paths so security stays centrally coordinated but locally owned.
• Coordinate prevention, response and recovery across the business during incidents.
• Provide leadership with a clear view of exposure and required actions.
• Integrate security into Flower's growth, partnerships and decision-making.
• Drive initiatives that build security awareness and culture across the company.

About The Role

As Senior Security Officer, you will be Flower's senior, company-wide security authority, covering our people, information, technology, products, physical environments and supply chains. You'll make sure Flower understands its security risks, meets its obligations and can grow with confidence.

What You’ll Do

• Set and evolve Flower's company-wide security direction, priorities and operating model
• Maintain a clear view of security risks and obligations as our markets and technology evolve
• Act as Flower's central point of security expertise, helping leaders translate requirements into clear priorities and ways of working
• Set decision rights and escalation paths so security stays centrally coordinated but locally owned
• Coordinate prevention, response and recovery across the business when incidents occur
• Give leadership a clear, decision-useful view of exposure and what needs action
• Build security into how Flower grows, partners and makes key decisions
• Drive initiatives that build security awareness and culture across the company

Who You Are

• 10+ years of relevant experience across roles that build toward this position, for example, software engineering or other tech-focused roles, alongside more direct security experience
• Broad security judgement across cyber, physical, people, product and supply-chain security, plus incident and crisis management
• A genuine technical foundation, ideally including hands-on software development, with real skill in building ways of working that let the organization move fast and stay secure
• Experience in a technology-led or complex, scaling business, with sound judgement on regulatory and customer requirements
• Strong risk judgement, balancing security, speed, cost and ambition
• Organized and able to prioritize under constant change, without letting key priorities slip
• Strong communication skills, building credibility across the organization while staying approachable
• A hands-on, self-directed, low-ego and curious approach, adaptable to Flower's context rather than fixed on one right way

Our beautiful office is located in the heart of Södermalm just a short walk from Slussen subway station. We encourage in-office collaboration but support a hybrid work model.
