Job summary

SEB is seeking a Senior Security Engineer for the Digital Workplace Area to help develop and operate SEB's security capabilities, focusing on the Defender ecosystem and cloud security principles. • Understanding of Cloud Security principles, including Azure Security with a secure-by-design mindset.
• Proven background in Platform Engineering, Security Architecture, Governance, and Zero Trust initiatives.
• Ability to bridge technology platforms, Security Operations (SOC) and business needs, translating requirements into scalable solutions for Threat Protection and Incident Response.
• A proactive approach to operational readiness and long-term service ownership within the Cyber Security area.
• Fluent English, spoken and written.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills and experience coaching of junior colleagues

About the role:

As a Senior Security Engineer in our Digital Workplace Area you will contribute to the development of SEBs security capabilities. Together with a product team you are responsible for a security platform, focusing on the Microsoft Defender ecosystem.

You will have a key role in ensuring that security capabilities are operated, designed, developed and delivered in a way that enables our operational security teams and business stakeholders to effectively protect the organization against modern cyber threats.

This includes ensuring modernization as well as operational readiness and long-term service ownership, while bridging technology platforms, Security Operations (SOC) and cloud platforms such as Azure.

Through close collaboration with other security teams and stakeholders on Threat Protection and Incident Response, you will help strengthen Cyber Security, Zero Trust and Security Architecture across the organization.
