Job summary

SEB group is seeking an experienced Information Security Officer to manage information security risks and maintain their security posture in Solna. You will develop the information security framework while collaborating closely with SEB Kort Group.

Are you a team player with a passion for security? We are looking for an experienced Information Security Officer to join our team in Arenastaden in Solna.

About the role

Your mission will be to help the organisation manage risks associated with information security. You will do this by continuous development of the information security framework for SEB Kort Group. This includes setting requirements and reviewing compliance but also with hands‑on support with i.e. information classifications, support with governance of suppliers, information security awareness and risk assessments. You will work in close cooperation with the other Information Security roles in the team and coordinate with other units, as well as with SEB Group.

To be successful in this role you need to build a deep and broad understanding of security across SEB Kort Group including governance, security requirements, regulations, our third‑party landscape and our business context. You should be able to take a strategic and holistic approach for the needs today and in the future, ensuring SEB Kort Group is a trusted and reliable financial institution. The protection of our customers information and compliance towards the regulatory requirements within the area of security is one of our main priorities.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Maintain and improve the ISMS and SEB Kort’s security posture
• Ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets and systems
• Analyse and assess security controls and identify areas of improvement
• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of relevant regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks
• Create training programs and resources to educate internal teams on security related topics
• Support internal stakeholders to improve SEB Kort’s capabilities to manage security
• Implement information security across the organization
• Ensuring the organization is prepared for external audits and reviews
• Advisory in risk management across the organisation
• Ensure security is implemented throughout the supply chain

Furthermore, we are looking for the following experience:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information security, information technology or another relevant field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience
• Strong understanding of organizational governance, risk management and compliance
• Well versed in the ISO 27K standards and working with an ISMS structure
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and frameworks (e.g. FI regulations, DORA, NIST, CIS, PCI DSS)
• Ability to work both strategically and hands‑on, balancing long‑term governance needs with operational security activities
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate security requirements clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences
• Comfortable in navigating both legal and technical contexts
• You are proficient in English and Swedish; both in writing and verbally.

Meriting experience

• Experience working in regulated environments, preferably within financial services or similar industries
• Experience from the Payment card or travel account industry
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC or equivalent
• Experience contributing to security awareness, training or internal capability building
• Experience in third party security assurance and security governance
• Experience from external audits such as ISO27001 or other regulatory reviews
