Job summary

Getinge is seeking a Senior Project Manager in Critical Care R&D to lead high‑priority development programs across software, electronics and mechanics. You will drive project goals, timelines and budgets while collaborating with senior stakeholders to secure alignment and informed decisions.

You will manage cross‑functional teams, translate regulatory requirements into actionable plans, and apply Lean and agile methods to accelerate industrialization and product launches.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to develop, lead and motivate high‑performing teams.
• Strong track record of strategic leadership, effective decision‑making, and proactive problem‑solving.
• Deep technical understanding of complex systems spanning mechanics, electronics, software, and industrialization.
• Extensive experience leading multiple projects from concept through to commercialization.
• Solid knowledge of medical device regulatory requirements and quality standards.
• An interest in and understanding of how AI and digital tools can enhance project execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, cross‑disciplinary product development projects spanning software, electronics, mechanics, and industrialization.
• Translate business objectives and regulatory requirements into clear project goals and actionable plans.
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets with aligned milestones.
• Partner with steering groups and leadership to ensure alignment and informed decisions.
• Track progress, identify risks, and implement robust mitigation strategies.
• Apply Lean, agile approaches and drive continuous improvement in R&D.
