inventYOU IT Consulting seeks a Senior Quality Engineering & AI Test Lead to drive AI-enhanced testing across a large IT organisation. You will shape AI usage in the development lifecycle to speed delivery while preserving quality.

The role blends hands-on expertise with coordination, guiding pilots, creating scalable QA practices, and building progress across teams and boundaries.

Qualifications

• Senior experience in Quality Engineering, test strategy and QA in large, complex IT environments.
• Deep understanding of the full SDLC and how quality is built into the development process.
• Hands-on experience with AI or Generative AI in software testing and Quality Engineering.
• Good understanding of CI/CD, DevOps and modern development environments.
• Experience transforming test and QA practices across multiple teams.
• Ability to blend strategic thinking with hands-on work.
• Proficiency in English and Swedish.

Responsabilités

• Identify opportunities for AI within testing and QA and translate them into concrete ways of working.
• Support pilot teams hands-on with experiments, problem solving and implementation.
• Develop practices within test automation, test data, test environments and quality analysis.
• Capture learnings from pilots and turn them into shared, scalable practices and playbooks.
• Create a clear picture of the current state, needs and priority development areas in test and Quality Engineering.
• Clarify ownership between shared and team delivery scopes to improve accountability.
• Strengthen collaboration between test specialists and other competencies.
• Act as the bridge between the test area, AI transformation and the wider tech organisation.

We are looking for a Senior Quality Engineering & AI Test Lead to join our team and drive the use of AI in testing and quality assurance across a large and complex IT organisation. You will help shape how AI is applied throughout the development lifecycle to increase speed and efficiency while maintaining high quality.

The role combines hands-on expertise with coordinating responsibility for the test area. You will support pilot teams in practice, create structure and direction for Quality Engineering, and drive prioritised improvements. The role has no personnel responsibility and is built on expert leadership, coordination and the ability to create progress across team and organisational boundaries.

• Identify opportunities for AI within testing and quality assurance and turn them into concrete ways of working
• Support pilot teams hands-on with experiments, problem solving and implementation
• Develop practices within test automation, test data, test environments and quality analysis
• Capture learnings from pilots and turn them into shared, scalable practices and playbooks
• Create a clear picture of the current state, needs and priority development areas within test and Quality Engineering
• Clarify what should be owned jointly and what should be owned by each delivery team
• Strengthen collaboration between test specialists and other relevant competencies
• Act as the bridge between the test area, the AI transformation and the wider technology organisation

Requirements

• Senior experience in Quality Engineering, test strategy and quality assurance in large, complex IT environments
• Deep understanding of the full SDLC and how quality is built into the development process
• Hands‑on experience with AI or Generative AI in software testing and Quality Engineering
• Good understanding of CI/CD, DevOps and modern development environments
• Experience developing or transforming test and QA practices across multiple teams
• Ability to combine a strategic perspective with hands‑on work
• Proven ability to lead through expertise and influence without a formal mandate
• Proficiency in English and Swedish

Nice to Have

• Coding or scripting experience
• Experience from large enterprise and integration landscapes
• Experience establishing or leading communities of practice within Quality Engineering
• ISTQB certification at Advanced or Test Manager level
