We are looking fora Senior Project Managerto join our team. Our client is one of the largest state-owned energy companies and a leading producer and supplier of electricity and heat in Europe.
As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for developing comprehensive project plans, including defining project scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements. You will also create strategies to achieve project goals efficiently and effectively.
6+ years of experience as a Project Manager
Strong experience in Lean Portfolio Management, preferably within SAFe or an equivalent framework
Good understanding of agile, hybrid, and traditional governance models
Working experience with strategic prioritization, portfolio backlogs, Epic management, roadmaps, and investment decisions
Experience with presentations, reports, and recommendations for management and steering committees
Ability to translate strategic goals into manageable initiatives, decision-making materials, and follow-up structures
Experience facilitating executive forums, portfolio forums, and workshops with senior stakeholders
Strong analytical capability regarding dependencies, capacity, risks, benefits, and priorities at the portfolio level
Ability to visit the office in Stockholm 2-3 days a week
English – Upper-intermediate or higher
Swedish – Advanced
Working experience in energy, infrastructure, electricity distribution (grid), or other critical infrastructure sectors
Certification or training in SAFe, Lean Portfolio Management, Agile Leadership, PMI, IPMA, or equivalent
Knowledge of benefits realization, value management, and financial tracking of investments
Experience with tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar portfolio and reporting platforms
Support the establishment and further development of Lean Portfolio Management as a working method within the organization
Design and implement structures for strategic prioritization, portfolio governance, and value-stream-based follow-up
Help link strategic goals, initiatives, funding, capacity, and execution
Facilitate portfolio forums, prioritization meetings, and decision-making processes at the executive and portfolio levels
Support the creation of portfolio backlogs, Epic management, roadmaps, and investment cases
Introduce and refine principles for capacity planning, dependency management, and resource prioritization
Develop KPIs, reporting, and visualizations that provide management with better decision-making support
Ensure governance supports strategic direction, faster value delivery, and effective management of risks and dependencies
