Job summary

TFS HealthScience is seeking a Senior Project Manager (1.0 FTE) to lead multidisciplinary teams in ophthalmology studies from a home-based EU location. You will manage timelines, scope, budget, and client communications to ensure milestones are achieved and studies stay on track.

You will coordinate with Site Management, Data Management, Statistics, Medical Writing, Regulatory and Safety, while mentoring junior PMs and contributing to business development efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience in CRO/clinical research.
• Strong knowledge of clinical trial regulations (ICH-GCP).
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage budgets.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong organizational and prioritization abilities.
• Financial and budget management experience.
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project delivery ensuring timelines, scope, and budget are met.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans and timelines.
• Act as the main point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
• Monitor project performance, including financials and profitability.
• Ensure compliance with internal SOPs and regulatory requirements.
• Allocate and manage project resources in collaboration with line managers.
• Report progress and elevate issues where needed.
• Support business development activities, including proposals and bid defenses.
• Mentor junior Project Managers when required.

About this role

As part of our CDS Ophthalmology teams you will be working alongside passionate and innovative professionals to ensure our customers achieve their goals.

The Project Manager will plan and pro-actively manage multidisciplinary study teams (including Site Management, Data Management, Statistics, Medical Writing, Regulatory and Safety) to ensure key milestones are achieved and studies are performed within budget, on schedule and in compliance with the appropriate - and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
