Job summary

McDermott International is seeking a Manager Project Controls to lead all project controls for the Stegra STM Project. The role requires a strong EPC/EPCM background with extensive experience in cost control, scheduling, forecasting, and risk management.

You will collaborate with construction, engineering, procurement, and subcontract teams to deliver accurate performance visibility and proactive decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 20+ years in cost control or project controls in the EPCI sector.
• 20+ years EPC experience with strong construction execution knowledge.
• Strong cost control methodologies including EVM, forecasting, and risk analysis.
• Proficient in Primavera P6, SAP, Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Ability to produce and maintain logically linked activity schedules.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide input to project execution plan, baselines, and control budgets for key projects.
• Collaborate with PM/Director and controls manager to forecast and define alternatives.
• Develop and implement cost control strategies; monitor expenditures and productivity.
• Lead project controls activities across the EPFCI lifecycle.
• Establish baselines with stakeholders and ensure adherence to budgets.
• Prepare cost-to-complete estimates and change orders as needed.
• Lead a team of cost-control professionals and drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure alignment between site progress, cost performance, and project objectives.
