Job summary

MongoDB is seeking a Pre-Sales Solution Architect based remotely in Sweden to guide customers in designing scalable systems using our data platform. You will partner with sales, review complex architectures, and drive technical discovery, demos, and value articulation across enterprise accounts.

You bring 8–11 years in customer-facing roles, 5–7 in pre-sales, strong scripting/programming skills, and a track record of cloud and on-prem deployments. Willingness to travel up to 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• 8–11 years in a customer-facing role with 5–7 years in pre-sales for enterprise software.
• 3+ years with modern scripting languages or programming languages in a professional capacity.
• Experience designing scalable, highly available distributed systems in cloud and on-prem.
• Ability to review complex architectures and recommend improvements using technology.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills for tech and business leadership.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% and hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable, performant applications and infrastructure leveraging MongoDB.
• Advise customers on architecture patterns and value of MongoDB to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with sales to drive account success, including technical discovery and demos.
• Generate demand through technical initiatives and participation in events.
• Foster customer success, build champions, and mentor team members.
