Job summary

GeekSoft Consulting seeks a senior engineer to help design, build and continuously improve the client's online platform in a fixed term role in Sweden. You will research, suggest and implement new technology solutions following best practices and ensure resiliency and availability of products.

You will be a productive team member, collaborate with stakeholders, and drive data-driven engineering across cloud-native architectures, with strong English skills and a passion for quality delivery.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of IT experience with hands-on expertise in modern data platforms.
• Strong background in Java and Spring Boot.
• Extensive Kafka ecosystem experience (Kafka, Kafka Connect, KRaft).

Responsibilities

• Design and build the client's online platform and continuously improve it.
• Research, recommend and implement new technology solutions following best practices.
• Ensure resiliency and availability of products; monitor and improve performance.
• Collaborate with team and stakeholders across the organization.
