Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and evolve scalable cloud solutions and architectures in a fast-paced environment in Gothenburg, Sweden. You will build and maintain cloud platforms, landing zones, and core services using Infrastructure as Code, while ensuring security and compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant cloud engineering, platform, or architecture experience.
• Hands-on with major cloud providers (Azure, AWS, GCP), IaC, CI/CD, Kubernetes, networking and security.
• Excellent English communication, written and oral.
• Ability to work independently, influence technical direction, and engage with stakeholders in complex environments.
• Ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams and adapt to the work environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and evolve scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud solutions and architectures.
• Develop and maintain cloud platforms, landing zones, and core services using Infrastructure as Code.
• Support day-to-day cloud operations, monitoring, automation, and reliability improvements.
• Implement cloud security best practices, identity and access management, and compliance controls.
• Work closely with platform teams, DevOps engineers, and stakeholders to align cloud solutions with business and technical needs, and provide technical guidance and recommendations.
