Job summary

Infraspec seeks experienced Planning Leads for a major industrial development in northern Sweden. The role emphasizes schedule development, integration, and coordination across contractors for a large capital project with heavy industry elements.

A strong Primavera P6 background is essential for managing complex programmes on site. We welcome candidates based in Sweden or the EU who can relocate or travel regularly to Boden.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in senior planning roles on major capital projects.
• Strong background in large infrastructure, energy, steel, metals or process environments.
• Experience with schedule development, integration and progress measurement.
• Strong understanding of critical path analysis and programme logic.
• Experience coordinating contractor and work package programmes.
• PlanLab experience would be an advantage.
• Ability to maintain a regular on-site presence in Boden.

Job description

Contract or Permanent – Northern Sweden

Regular site presence required.

We require experienced Planning Leads to assist a key consultancy client supporting a major industrial development in, northern Sweden.

The project is a major development integrating green hydrogen production, ironmaking and steelmaking on a single site. We are looking for experienced planners with a strong background in major capital projects, heavy industry, energy, process plants or complex infrastructure and construction programmes.

The key areas of focus will include schedule development and integration, progress measurement, critical path analysis and coordination across contractors and work packages.

The role will require a strong Primavera P6 background and someone comfortable working within a large, complex project environment, coordinating planning activities across multiple disciplines and stakeholders.

Candidate requirements:

• Significant experience in senior planning roles on major capital projects.
• Strong background in major infrastructure, industrial, energy, steel, metals or process environments.
• Advanced Primavera P6 capability.
• Experience of schedule development, integration and progress measurement.
• Strong understanding of critical path analysis and programme logic.
• Experience coordinating contractor and work package programmes.
• PlanLab experience would be an advantage.
• Ability to maintain a regular on-site presence in Boden.

We are interested in speaking with contractors currently based in Sweden or elsewhere in the EU who are able to relocate or travel regularly to Boden. UK-based contractors willing to consider an inside IR35 engagement will also be considered.
