Job summary

Swedish Match is seeking a Senior Manager Packaging Development & Industrialization to lead the design and scalable deployment of packaging for the Oral product category. You will manage a team of packaging engineers and partner with engineering, manufacturing, procurement and quality to deliver compliant, production-ready solutions.

The role emphasizes innovation, sustainability, and operational excellence while meeting regulatory standards and business targets.

Qualifications

• Multiple years of people leadership experience.
• 8+ years in packaging, materials, or industrialization (FMCG/pharma or related) preferred.
• University degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science, Packaging, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and industrialization of packaging solutions for the Oral product category, ensuring scalability, compliance and producibility.
• Manage and develop a small team of packaging engineers; collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and quality.
• Translate business needs and consumer expectations into practical packaging solutions across the product lifecycle.
• Drive innovation, sustainability, and cost efficiency through new materials and portfolio optimization.
• Ensure project delivery with clear visibility on progress, risks, and timelines.
