Job summary

Vattenfall invites an experienced OT security architect to lead and shape the security architecture across its OT platforms and assets. The role acts as Technical Authority for OT security, owning standards, guiding engineering teams, and ensuring secure, scalable solutions.

You will drive competence development in OT security, embed security into engineering roadmaps, and collaborate with security and compliance functions to align reference architectures and controls.

Qualifications

• Extensive OT cybersecurity and security architecture experience in industrial settings.
• Strong expertise in IEC 62443 and related standards (ISO 27001, ISO 27019).
• Deep knowledge of segmentation, DMZ architectures, secure remote access, and cross-domain data flows.

Responsibilities

• Define, publish, and maintain the OT security architecture baseline based on IEC 62443 and relevant standards.
• Own the design, selection, and lifecycle of OT security controls and architectures across projects and assets.
• Establish and enforce security standards, reference architectures, and design guardrails.
• Act as technical escalation point for OT security decisions and risk trade-offs.
• Lead architecture integration and stakeholder alignment for OT/IT reference patterns.
