Job summary

Kurppa Hosk is seeking a Senior Motion Designer to join our Stockholm studio on parental leave cover for at least 1 year. You will lead motion workstreams across medium to large projects, translating strategy into compelling motion languages and brand films, while collaborating with strategists, designers and clients.

You’ll pair 3D and 2D craft with structured thinking, present work to clients, mentor juniors, and explore AI-assisted workflows.

Qualifications

• Relevant education in motion design, graphic design, visual communication, or similar.
• Minimum 7 years of professional experience in motion design across 3D and 2D.
• Strong portfolio showing high-quality 3D modeling, rendering, 2D animation and motion graphics.
• Advanced proficiency in Cinema 4D or Houdini, Redshift and After Effects.
• Good knowledge of Figma; broad Adobe Creative Suite appreciated.
• English fluency; Swedish an extra plus.
• Authorized to work in Sweden.

Responsibilities

• Lead motion workstreams in medium to large projects from concept to delivery.
• Define motion languages for brand identities and create templates.
• Translate strategy and static designs into cohesive motion across formats.
• Create polished 2D motion graphics and animations for brand films and marketing.
• Lead 3D work from technical renders to abstract visuals.
• Edit brand films and prepare assets for multiple platforms.
• Drive creative development and ensure quality across motion deliverables.
• Present motion decisions confidently to clients.
• Mentor junior designers and raise motion craft standards.
• Collaborate across disciplines and with sister companies in the Eidra group.
• Experiment with AI tools in motion workflows and adopt effective tools.
