Kurppa Hosk is seeking a Senior Motion Designer to join our Stockholm studio on parental leave cover for at least 1 year. You will lead motion workstreams across medium to large projects, translating strategy into compelling motion languages and brand films, while collaborating with strategists, designers and clients.

You’ll pair 3D and 2D craft with structured thinking, present work to clients, mentor juniors, and explore AI-assisted workflows.

Qualifikationen

• Relevant education in motion design, graphic design, visual communication, or similar.
• Minimum 7 years of professional experience in motion design across 3D and 2D.
• Strong portfolio showing high-quality 3D modeling, rendering, 2D animation and motion graphics.
• Advanced proficiency in Cinema 4D or Houdini, Redshift and After Effects.
• Good knowledge of Figma; broad Adobe Creative Suite appreciated.
• English fluency; Swedish an extra plus.
• Authorized to work in Sweden.

Kurppa Hosk is looking for a Senior Motion Designer to join our team in Stockholm as parental leave cover for at least 1 year!

In this role, you will work closely with our brand strategists, brand designers, digital designers, and other highly skilled creatives to shape and deliver motion as a core part of how KH's brands come to life. As a Senior Motion Designer, you confidently lead motion workstreams across medium to large projects, from early concept through complete motion languages, animated identity assets, brand films, and launch content. You take clear ownership of your projects, proactively drive creative development, and ensure that the motion solutions we deliver meet both brand and business objectives. You combine strong craft across 3D and 2D with structured thinking, and you are comfortable presenting and discussing your work with clients. You are also curious about how motion craft is evolving: actively experimenting with AI tools in your own work, and helping the team integrate new capabilities into daily delivery. As part of Kurppa Hosk, you will work with some of the world's leading brands that seek true transformation. You are self-propelled, structured, detail-oriented, and collaborative, with a portfolio that showcases visually strong, well-crafted motion work across a variety of formats and brand contexts.

Main Responsibilities

• Lead motion workstreams in medium to large projects, from concept to final delivery
• Define motion languages for brand identities, developing motion assets and templates that create consistent, high-quality content and evolving them as the work expands
• Translate strategy, brand platforms and static designs into motion that holds together across formats and channels
• Create polished 2D motion graphics and animations for brand films, web, presentations and product marketing
• Lead 3D work, from technical product renders to abstract animated 3D visuals
• Edit brand films, including cutting footage, adding graphics and sound, and preparing final assets for different platforms
• Drive creative development within assigned projects and teams, securing quality and consistency across all motion deliverables
• Present and articulate motion decisions confidently to clients
• Mentor and support more junior designers, raising the motion craft bar across the team
• Collaborate across disciplines and actively contribute to cross-agency initiatives, including with sister companies across the Eidra group
• Stay actively engaged with how motion craft is evolving, including the role of AI in generative video, 3D asset creation and compositing. Experiment with new tools in your own work and help the team adopt what earns its place

Qualifications

• Relevant education within motion design, graphic design, visual communication, or similar
• Minimum 7 years of professional experience in motion design, with strong depth across both 3D and 2D
• Strong portfolio showcasing high-quality 3D modelling and rendering, 2D animation, and motion graphics work across brand contexts
• Advanced proficiency in Cinema 4D or Houdini, as well as Redshift and Adobe After Effects
• Good knowledge of Figma; broader Adobe Creative Suite appreciated
• Strong understanding of animation principles, timing, composition, typography and visual storytelling
• Proven ability to take projects from concept to final delivery with minimal supervision
• Experience developing motion components for brand guidelines and pushing creative boundaries
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal; additional languages (including Swedish) are a plus
• Authorized to work in Sweden (EU citizen or valid work visa)

Also Appreciated

• Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro or similar video editing software
• Experience in sound design, including sourcing, editing and mixing sound effects and music
• Experience with basic character animation or rigging
• Active engagement with AI tools in motion workflows (generative video, 3D asset generation, AI-assisted compositing)
