Qamcom Research and Technology is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to drive mechanical design and product development for advanced electronic systems, including RF, radar, and antenna applications. You will balance material choice, thermal management, manufacturability, and integration of electronic components throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in mechanical design and product development.
• Strong 3D CAD skills with SolidWorks or Creo.
• Experience with material selection and manufacturing methods for advanced products.
• Understanding of the product development lifecycle from concept to production.
• Fluency in Swedish and English; valid Swedish work permit.

Responsibilities

• Develop mechanical solutions for electronics-intensive products with attention to manufacturability and reliability.
• Balance performance, functionality, and cost in design decisions.
• Collaborate with hardware, RF, software, and systems teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Support from concept through prototyping to production and industrialization.
• Evaluate materials, thermal paths, and integration of electronic components.
