Klättermusen Aktiebolag in Åre invites a Material Developer & Team Lead for the Shanghai Material Team to join our Purchase & Production group. You will develop fabrics for outdoor products, lead the Shanghai team, and ensure cross-border collaboration with Sweden to deliver innovative, sustainable materials on time.

Formación

• 3+ years of fabric and trims development experience in outdoor/technical textiles.
• Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering or Material Science.
• Knowledge of textile manufacturing processes, materials testing, and fabric construction.
• Experience with sustainable materials in footwear/pack/apparel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams across Sweden and Shanghai.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across cultures.
• Strong project management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and PLM systems.
• Business-level English proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the Shanghai Material Team and coordinate with Sweden.
• Develop and source fabrics meeting performance, sustainability, and cost goals.
• Develop testing protocols and coordinate quality with the Quality Team.
• Ensure PLM material cards are accurate.
• Negotiate supplier prices, lead times, and MOQs.
• Ensure regulatory and safety standards compliance.
• Advance sustainability initiatives and data accuracy in PLM.
• Conduct regular team meetings and performance development.
• Recruitment, onboarding, and succession planning.
• Establish cross-location collaboration between Sweden and Shanghai.
