Job summary

Saab AB is seeking a Manager for Software Release and Integration to lead a team responsible for integration, verification and release management of runtime, embedded, sensor and front-end software for Giraffe AMB and ARTHUR. You’ll drive agile transitions and CI/CD initiatives to accelerate development cycles.

In this role you’ll ensure timely software deliveries, manage budgets and mentor staff, while maintaining a customer-focused, performance-driven culture that delivers results.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in software integration, release management and verification across runtime, embedded RTOS, and front-end software.
• Ability to lead and coach teams with a track record of delivering complex software.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and execution-focused delivery.
• Familiarity with Configuration Management in large-scale embedded software.

Responsibilities

• Lead the software release and integration section, reporting to the Head of Software Design for Giraffe AMB and ARTHUR.
• Drive strategic initiatives, resource planning and competence development.
• Ensure timely, high-quality software deliveries within budgets.
• Oversee integration, verification, and release management of runtime, embedded and front-end software.
