Saab is seeking a Program Manager within Product Unit Integrated Systems in Sweden. You will lead contract execution, secure profitability and cash flow, and act as the primary interface to customers for contract fulfilment and negotiations.

The role requires strong leadership, financial acumen, and excellent communication in Swedish and English, with a focus on delivering high quality and customer satisfaction in a defense and security context.

Your role

We are looking for a Program Manager at Product Unit Integrated Systems within the Business Unit Surface Sensor Solutions. BU Surface Sensor Solutions provides advanced radars and EW systems for land and naval applications. The business unit has a strong presence in the global defense and security markets, maintains close relationships with customers, and engages in rewarding international collaborations. As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for executing won contracts, including securing good profitability, cash flow, delivery precision, quality, and customer satisfaction. You will take full responsibility for all project management aspects, including:

• Project definition and bid preparations
• Project management during the execution phase of contracts
• Serving as the interface towards our customers during execution and being responsible for contract fulfilment, including negotiations
• Ensuring the short- and long-term profitability of the projects and securing that the goals are met
• Challenging the organization to continuously improve in order to contribute to increased efficiency in our operations
• Informing and establishing commitment for the project within the organization to meet the customers’ expectations and ensure the commercial success of your projects

Your profile

We see that you have competence and experience in the majority of the following areas:

• Leadership experience with a focus on business and customer understanding.
• A good financial understanding and experience in project management and/or product management.
• You are a driven individual with strong social skills and a willingness to build relationships both internally within Saab and externally.
• You have the ability to create a collaborative culture characterized by transparency, frequent feedback, respect, and trust.
• A team player willing to go the extra mile for your team and its objectives.
• Excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English.
