Job summary

Netonyx AB in Sweden is seeking a Senior Java Backend Engineer to design, build, and operate IAM services central to our identity platform. You will own core microservices, implement secure authentication and authorization flows, and drive scalable, reliable systems.

You'll work with Keycloak, OAuth2/OpenID Connect, and SAML, collaborating with product, security, and platform teams to raise our IAM capabilities to the next level.

Qualifications

• Strong Java backend development experience with production microservices.
• Hands-on Keycloak deployments, SPIs, and providers customization.
• Deep knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT and SAML.
• Experience designing distributed systems, scalable services, and security-minded approaches.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate IAM capabilities on Keycloak and Java microservices.
• Extend Keycloak through SPIs, providers, user federation, and themes.
• Implement and maintain authentication and authorization flows (OAuth2, OIDC, SAML, MFA).
• Drive security best practices including token handling, session management, audits, and compliance.
• Own services in production from design to deployment, observability, and incident response.
• Collaborate with product, security, and platform teams to deliver reliable identity solutions.
