Job summary

Koda Tech in Sweden is seeking a Senior Java Developer to design, develop, and modernise enterprise-grade applications. You will work with architects, product teams, and stakeholders to build secure, scalable backend services using Java Spring Boot and REST APIs.

You will contribute to cloud-native architectures, CI/CD practices, and secure identity and authentication standards, while mentoring peers and improving system reliability and performance in a fast-paced engineering team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional Java development experience.
• Deep knowledge of Java 17+ and Spring Boot.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and relational databases.
• Familiarity with cloud-native environments, containers, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.
• Swedish language skills.

You will play a key role in designing, developing, and modernising enterprise-grade applications whilst collaborating closely with architects, developers, product teams, and stakeholders. The role draws on technologies and requirements including Java Spring, identity and authentication standards, public-sector style compliance requirements, and cloud-native development.

Responsibilities:

Requirements:

• Strong experience with:
