You will lead backend design with Java and Spring, build microservices and REST APIs, work with Docker/Kubernetes in cloud environments, and ensure robust, scalable, and reliable services.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend software development experience.
• Expert-level Java proficiency and Spring Framework experience.
• Proven design/implementation of microservices and REST APIs.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Understanding cloud computing and deployment in cloud envs.
• Solid testing: unit, integration, end-to-end.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Intermediate-advanced English level; good client communication.
• Located in CET timezone within +/-3 hours; no other time zones.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of backend services using Java and the Spring Ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud).
• Drive best practices in coding, testing, security, and performance optimization.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and event-driven architectures to support business logic and front-end applications.
• Work extensively with cloud environments, leveraging containerization technologies (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Diagnose and resolve complex production issues, ensuring high availability and system reliability.
