Telia is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to design, build, and operate cloud-native backend services powering Telia Play. You will create scalable Java/Spring Boot microservices for onboarding, purchases, subscriptions, and content access, while shaping architecture and secure integrations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend experience with modern Java and Spring Boot.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, data access, and service integration.
• Proven experience building cloud-native services on AWS with Docker/Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate cloud-native backend services for Telia Play.
• Develop microservices for onboarding, purchases, subscriptions, and content access.
• Shape architecture, REST APIs, and secure integrations.
• Improve CI/CD, observability, and production ownership across teams.
