Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager in Sweden to lead complex IT initiatives from initiation to delivery. You will drive planning, governance, budgeting, scheduling, and reporting while coordinating stakeholders, architects, technical teams, suppliers, and management.

You will lead workshops and steering committees, manage scope, risks, and changes, and ensure high-quality documentation and decision support for senior leadership. Strong Swedish and English skills are required.

Requirements

• Extensive experience as a Senior IT Project Manager leading complex IT projects.


• Proven experience delivering large-scale IT transformation, digitalization, or system implementation projects.


• Experience leading projects from requirements analysis through implementation and delivery.


• Strong experience in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.


• Experience managing project governance, risks, dependencies, budgets, and timelines.


• Experience working with enterprise IT systems or digital platforms.


• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.


• Ability to work independently and drive complex initiatives forward.


• Excellent Swedish language skills are mandatory.

• Experience from the Swedish public sector, government agencies, municipalities, or regions.


• Experience with change management and organizational transformation.


• Experience with cloud-based solutions (SaaS, PaaS, or IaaS).

• PMP, PRINCE2, IPMA, or equivalent Project Management certification.
