Job summary

I-Ray IT Solutions AB is seeking a Senior IT Architect for a long-term consulting assignment in Sundsvall. The role focuses on leading architecture work across development teams, conducting architecture studies, and delivering architecture patterns and documentation within a distributed, event-driven environment.

Experience with Java/microservices, Jira, Confluence, and agile practices is essential. The position requires Swedish fluency and involves a mix of on-site and remote work with a 100%

Qualifications

• Fluent written and spoken Swedish.
• At least 4 years in the last 8 years with distributed, service-oriented platforms using Java and microservices.
• Extensive experience developing solution patterns, architecture documentation, requirements and investigations.
• 10 years in the Swedish public sector within regulated environments.
• 5 years in the last 10 years with economic/financial systems.
• Experience coaching or mentoring teams in system development.
• Experience using Jira for workflows and Confluence for documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT architecture and overall solution design within one or more development teams.
• Lead architecture workshops and collaborate with other IT architects.
• Conduct architecture studies and develop architecture proposals.
• Ensure alignment with reference architecture and documentation.
• Model processes and contribute to technical solutions.
• Provide mentoring and coaching to developers and architects.
• Take on Scrum Master responsibilities when needed.
• Manage dependencies across multiple teams and environments.
