Job summary

I-Ray IT Solutions AB in Sundsvall is seeking a highly experienced Senior Requirements Manager & Methodology Support Consultant for a complex IT environment in the public sector. The role combines senior requirements management, agile methodology coaching and cross‑team collaboration. You will work strategically and operationally to ensure clear, traceable requirements for continuous delivery, with a hybrid on‑site model in Sundsvall.

Location: Sundsvall, Sweden. Start: 1 January 2027.

Qualifications

• Fluent Swedish – written and spoken.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in the Swedish public sector during the last 15 years.
• Extensive experience in legally and regulatory-controlled environments.
• At least 10 years of experience developing customer and case/processing systems within public support or equivalent operations in the last 15 years.
• At least 5 years of experience developing financial/economic systems (loans, grants, benefits, banking) during the last 10 years.
• At least 8 years working with multiple parallel development teams and joint deliveries during the last 10 years.
• At least 8 years providing mentoring and methodological support for agile system development during the last 10 years.
• Experience with system development involving Java code migrated from CA Gen.
• Very strong technical understanding of application development and IT systems.
• 15 years of relevant professional experience during the last 20 years.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements management across large assignments involving multiple development teams and functions.
• Break business needs into iterative requirements, features and delivery flows.
• Establish, structure and maintain overall backlogs and agile requirements artifacts.
• Ensure development teams have sufficient and high-quality requirements for continuous development.
• Support and lead operational requirements work within individual teams.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, development teams, users and other functions.
• Lead workshops, story mapping sessions and requirements activities.
• Provide coaching, mentoring and methodological support in agile system development.
• Support and improve processes, methods and ways of working.
• Act as a bridge between IT and business operations.
• Support and manage tools including Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management, Bitbucket and Mattermost.
• Contribute to knowledge development and collaboration models.
• Take on Scrum Master responsibilities when required.

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Requirements Manager & Methodology Support Consultant for a complex IT environment within the public sector.

The role combines senior requirements management, agile methodology support, coaching and collaboration across multiple development teams. You will work at both strategic and operational levels and help ensure that development teams have clear, structured and traceable requirements for continuous delivery.
