Koenigsegg Automotive AB is seeking an experienced software engineer with hardware-close expertise to advance our Linux/Yocto-based and Android infotainment platforms at BSP and driver levels. You will own core embedded software, drive integration with SoC peripherals, displays, audio, and ECU interfaces, and help shape architecture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Linux embedded development and/or AOSP experience, including BSP/kernel/platform-level work.
• 3+ years writing and maintaining Linux kernel drivers (I2C, SPI, UART, USB, display pipelines).
• Strong proficiency in C and C++ with a focus on resource-constrained environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain BSP, kernel drivers, and low-level platform software for the Koenigsegg Infotainment system on Linux/Yocto and AOSP.
• Integrate hardware components including SoC peripherals, displays, audio, connectivity, and ECU interfaces.
• Build features leveraging embedded and connected technologies, prioritizing simple, robust solutions.
• Contribute to Android HAL implementations and framework services as needed.
• Collaborate with a small, agile cross-functional team of embedded engineers, QA/Validation, and designers on technical decisions.
• Debug and analyze root causes across the full software stack.
• Support production and service departments with technical expertise.
• Contribute to engineering practices and standards.
