Job summary

Luxoft is seeking an Android Infotainment Software Developer in Gothenburg to build features for the infotainment system, spanning application and native layers including HAL in C++. You will own design, architecture, implementation, verification, and validation with CI automation and hands-on testing in rigs and cars.

We value 4+ years in Java/Kotlin, strong knowledge of AOSP, modern architectural patterns, Linux, and collaboration with UX/UI teams in an international automotive environment.

Qualifications

• Extensive Android application development experience.
• 4+ years of software development in Java/Kotlin.
• MSc in Software Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with AOSP and AOSP build system.
• Familiar with MVVM, MVP or Clean architecture.
• Linux environment experience.
• Automated unit/integration testing in Java/Kotlin.
• Git, Gerrit and Jenkins workflow experience.
• Strong English skills (written and spoken).
• Experience in Automotive/Infotainment and international teams.
• Collaborates with UX/UI teams on app development.

Responsibilities

• Implement complete features for infotainment Android applications.
• Work across application and native layers including HAL in C++.
• Define design, architecture, documentation, and end-to-end delivery.
• Perform verification/validation including CI automation and manual tests in rigs/cars.
• Collaborate with UX/UI, partners and stakeholders to deliver cohesive solutions.
