Job summary

Q Workforce AB in Solna is seeking an experienced Senior Heavy Equipment Operator to join major pipeline and hydrogen infrastructure projects in Sweden. You will operate specialised machinery safely and efficiently on challenging outdoor sites.

The role requires 10+ years of hands-on experience, licences for the machinery, strong English, and the ability to work independently within a multidisciplinary team while maintaining high safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of relevant professional experience with heavy construction or pipeline equipment.
• Licences or certificates for the machinery operated.
• Experience operating sidebooms and heavy lifting equipment.
• Willingness to travel within Sweden as required.
• Good working knowledge of English.

Responsibilities

• Operate sidebooms and other pipeline construction equipment.
• Operate cranes and heavy lifting equipment when qualified.
• Position, lift, move and handle large-diameter pipeline components and materials.
• Support pipeline stringing, lowering-in, lifting and related activities.
• Carry out daily equipment inspections and basic operator-level maintenance.
• Follow site safety procedures, lifting plans, method statements and risk assessments.
• Coordinate with supervisors, lifting teams, welders and pipe crews.
• Maintain high standards of safety and equipment care.
• Assist with mobilisation, demobilisation and relocation of heavy equipment between project locations.
