Job summary

Enersense International Oyj is seeking a Piping Supervisor for a large-scale industrial project in Boden, Northern Sweden. This role involves overseeing work execution, managing permits, and coordinating with teams on safety and operational issues. Candidates should have a technical background, at least 5 years in industrial piping, and supervisory experience.

The position requires proficiency in Finnish and English, with certifications in safety and hot work being significant advantages. The anticipated work rotation is 4 weeks on-site followed by 2 weeks off.

Qualifications

Job description

Join the team of bold professionals at Enersense! We are now looking for a Piping Supervisor for our large-scale industrial project in Boden, Northern Sweden. We provide all travel arrangements as well as accommodation while working on site. The planned work rotation will be 4 weeks on site in Sweden, followed by 2 weeks off. The project will start as soon as possible and the estimated duration is until the end of May 2027.

The open position is within our Energy Transition business unit, where we help our customers improve the reliability of their production facilities and enhance maintenance operations. We deliver demanding project implementations for industrial projects. We develop digital solutions to improve productivity, manage the overall maintenance and reliability of our customers' production plants and provide resource and contracting services as well as subcontracting chain management services for domestic and international industrial projects.

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Oversee and ensure proper planning and execution of work with Team Leads, including problem-solving and quality control
• Manage work permits in coordination with Team Leads
• Support reporting activities and daily coordination with the Manager and Team Leads
• Onboard Team Leads and blue‑collar workers to site operations and tasks
• Act as a link between Team Leads and the project organization
• Provide support on IT‑related issues (e.g. 3D models, isometrics)
• Coordinate with storage and quality teams, including daily management of consumables, tools, welding gases, and site‑related supply issues
• Monitor and coordinate HSE activities
• Coordinate with scaffolding supervision and ensure manlift availability
• Plan and coordinate lifting operations with Team Leads, mechanical supervision and lifting contractors

Requirements:

• Technical educational background
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the industrial sector, particularly piping installation
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory role
• Good interpersonal skills
• Proactive attitude
• IWS, IWT, IWE or VT level 2 certification is considered a significant advantage
• Occupational Safety Card, Hot Work Permit, and First Aid Level 1 certification
• Proficiency in both Finnish and English languages
