Job summary

Tetra Pak is seeking a Senior Material Specialist based in Lund to lead polymer material decisions for our global factories and customers. You will collaborate with development teams and suppliers to ensure safe, high-quality base materials and drive material innovation across borders.

Join a central materials competence team focused on polymer grades, modelling, and portfolio optimisation, with opportunities to travel and contribute to sustainable packaging initiatives.

Qualifications

• University degree in a relevant university field.
• Expert knowledge in polymer chemistry, physics and/or mechanics.
• Minimum 5 years of work experience in polymer industry.
• Excellent spoken and written English skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage polymer grades with suppliers and internal teams across borders.
• Develop and maintain material specifications and analyse customer demand impacts.
• Perform concept studies and knowledge building to optimise base material portfolio.
