Job summary

Tetra Pak in Lund invites a Senior Material Specialist to join the Base Materials Polymer Technology team. You will influence polymer material choices used in our products, work within Supplier Management to secure sustainable, high-quality base materials, and support material innovation for future packaging solutions.

The role requires a university degree and at least 5 years in polymer industry (polyethylene/propylene or packaging materials), plus strong modelling and English communication

Qualifications

• A relevant university degree.
• Expert knowledge in polymer chemistry, physics and/or mechanics with modelling experience.
• Minimum 5 years in polymer industry, preferably polyethylene/propylene or packaging materials.

Responsibilities

• Be part of a central materials team handling polymers used in Tetra Pak factories worldwide.
• Manage materials towards suppliers and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across borders.
• Conduct problem solving and supplier visits as part of the role.
