Avalanche Studios Group is seeking a Senior External Communications Lead who loves games and storytelling. You will be the voice of the studio and portfolio, crafting global narratives and building a market‑leading external communications function.

You will shape the brand across all channels, lead media relations, guide agencies, and maintain a proactive, data‑driven approach to communications in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Extensive communications experience in games industry or with international publishers.
• Ability to craft long‑term strategies while executing tactically.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute the overarching external communications strategy and annual calendar for all brands and products.
• Spearhead PR and communications for the portfolio, guiding agencies and channels.
• Build and manage a global media contacts network and act as primary spokesperson.
• Ensure a consistent brand voice across platforms with high‑quality content and boilerplates.
• Develop content frameworks for owned channels (web, social, blog) and maintain the digital press room.
• Manage crisis communications and maintain robust crisis plans.
• Establish KPI framework to track coverage and identify trends and opportunities.
• Collaborate with marketing and community teams and provide media training for spokespeople.
