Job summary

RPS Softwares AB is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to help build a range planning platform that guides teams with data-driven recommendations across frontend, backend and data integrations, while supporting a modern cloud transition.

You will own features from design through production, collaborating across product, design and data teams. The role emphasizes secure, scalable services on Azure and Databricks, with PostgreSQL and REST APIs, plus automated testing and CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional full-stack development experience with ownership of features from design through production.
• Strong skills in Vue.js and TypeScript, alongside Python and FastAPI.
• Hands-on experience building and operating applications on Azure, including containerised services and secure configuration.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks, SQL-based data transformations and data pipelines.
• Solid SQL knowledge and PostgreSQL experience.
• Experience designing secure REST APIs and authentication with OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect.
• Familiar with automated testing, CI/CD and troubleshooting production apps.
• Experience with cloud migrations and modernisation; knowledge of GCP or BigQuery is a plus.
• Experience with data transformation and orchestration tools like dbt or Dagster is a plus.
• Experience with Unity Catalog, Delta Sharing or similar data governance features is a plus.
• Experience with Terraform and GitHub Actions is a plus.
• Experience with Excel export generation using pandas and XlsxWriter is a plus.

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to play a key role in developing a range planning platform that recommends article lists and helps teams make data-driven decisions. The assignment centres on working across frontend, backend and data integrations, while supporting the platform’s ongoing cloud transition. The role supports both range planning and the retail establishment process through a modern, scalable platform

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Full-Stack Application & Feature Development:

Build and enhance the collaborative range planning platform across the entire stack—creating intuitive frontend interfaces with Vue 3, TypeScript, Vuetify, and SCSS, developing Python FastAPI backend services and REST APIs (for search, project management, recommendations, analytics, and Excel exports), and engineering high-performance, maintainable database features using PostgreSQL and SQL.

Cloud Architecture, Data Integration & Engineering Leadership:

Drive the migration and operation of the platform on Azure (Container Apps and Static Web Apps) and collaborate on Databricks-based data integration pipelines, while strengthening security, automated testing, CI/CD, and monitoring, and shaping technical decisions through code reviews, knowledge sharing, and architectural simplification.

Technical Skills & Expertise:

• At least 5+ years of professional full-stack development experience, with ownership of features from design through production.
• Strong skills in Vue.js and TypeScript, alongside Python and FastAPI.
• Hands-on experience building and operating applications on Azure , including containerised services, secure configuration and monitoring.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks , including SQL-based data transformations, data pipelines and integration with application services.
• Solid SQL knowledge and experience with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL.
• Experience designing secure REST APIs and implementing authentication and authorisation using standards such as OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect.
• Familiar with automated testing, CI/CD and troubleshooting production applications.
• Experience with cloud migrations and incremental modernisation is a plus, and familiarity with GCP or Big Query would be useful during the transition.
• Experience with data transformation and orchestration using dbt, Dagster or comparable tools is a plus.
• Experience with Unity Catalog, Delta Sharing or similar data-governance and sharing capabilities is a plus.
• Experience with infrastructure as code using Terraform and delivery automation with GitHub Actions is a plus.
• Experience with enterprise identity integrations, and Excel export generation using pandas and XlsxWriter, is a plus.
