Job summary

Databricks is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer to work with customers to build and productionize data and AI solutions on the Databricks platform. You will own the architecture, lead design decisions, and implement end-to-end systems spanning data engineering, AI, and application development.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in data engineering, data platforms or software engineering.
• Experience writing code in Python, Scala, or JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frameworks.
• Working knowledge of two or more cloud ecosystems (AWS/Azure/GCP) with expertise in at least one.

Responsibilities

• Lead production-grade implementations and reference architectures for data and AI solutions.
• Collaborate with customers to design end-to-end data pipelines and ML/AI integrations.
• Guide customers on architecture, design, and best practices; ensure secure, scalable solutions.
• Work with cross-functional teams to deliver outcomes and provide feedback to product and engineering.
