Job summary

Natixis Sweden Branch, part of Natixis SA, seeks a highly qualified Financial Controller to oversee the branch's financial operations and integrity. You will manage daily accounting, P&L production, and regulatory reporting while ensuring compliance with Swedish and EU frameworks.

You will collaborate with Head Office Finance and local authorities, driving efficiency, automation, and accurate management accounts, budgets and forecasts with insightful commentary.

Qualifications

• Fully Qualified Accountant with proven track record in financial accounting, accounting control and financial management in banking/financial services.
• Strong understanding of Swedish local regulatory requirements for EU banking branches (e.g., SFSA).
• Extensive experience with Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) and financial products.
• Proven experience in full cycle financial reporting from daily P&L to annual statutory accounts.
• Experience with tax reporting and compliance including Pillar 2 and CbCR.

Responsibilities

• Maintain compliant and accurate financial management for the branch under Swedish and EU regulations.
• Oversee daily financial operations including transactions, reconciliation and control activities.
• Provide strategic financial planning aligned with Head Office objectives and reporting requirements.
• Produce timely daily P&L and conduct variance analysis with risk/opportunity commentary.
• Generate MI on revenue, portfolios and KPIs with forward-looking analysis.
• Identify and implement automation to improve financial processes.
• Lead financial and regulatory reporting including group accounts and tax compliance.
