Job summary

Incluso is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer in Gothenburg to join a global team. The role focuses on designing and developing low-level and middleware platform software for powertrain ECUs, from prototype to production, with AUTOSAR-based implementations.

The position is a 6-month limited contract with potential extension and is 100% onsite in Gothenburg. Ideal candidates will have strong C/C++ embedded experience, proficiency with debugging tools, and knowledge of UART/CAN/SPI

Qualifications

• Experience with version control systems (SVN, Git)
• Strong programming skills in C/C++ (embedded)
• Knowledge of OS coding techniques and communication protocols (UART, CAN, SPI, LIN)
• Hands-on experience with on-chip debugging tools and hardware troubleshooting
• Strong embedded C skills with compiler/linker knowledge
• Clear communication and teamwork in a cross-functional environment

Responsibilities

• Design and develop complex platform software for powertrain ECUs from prototype to production
• Cover full software lifecycle including prototyping, requirements, architecture and detailed design, estimation, implementation, testing, documentation and code reviews
• Implement software based on AUTOSAR for ECUs
• Provide design, development and debugging support for integrating functions into the control unit
• Develop highly reliable and critical electric vehicle components
