Job summary

Maandag Nordic in Gothenburg on site is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to join the automotive electrification effort. You will work on low-level and middleware software for powertrain ECUs, from prototypes through production, using AUTOSAR, embedded C/C++, and hardware interfaces.

The role emphasizes collaboration, reliability and safety-critical development, with lifecycle activities from requirements to testing and debugging.

Qualifications

• Several years of embedded software development experience, preferably in automotive.
• Strong programming in Embedded C and C++.
• Experience with microcontrollers and embedded control systems.
• Knowledge of AUTOSAR architecture for automotive ECUs.
• Familiarity with CAN/LIN/SPI/UART communication protocols.
• Experience with low-level drivers and hardware interfaces.
• Hands-on debugging of software and hardware.
• Understanding of build processes and toolchains for embedded C/C++.
• Experience with Git or SVN and agile ways of working.

Responsibilities

• Develop low-level and middleware software for powertrain ECUs from prototype to production.
• Work across requirements, architecture, implementation, testing, integration and debugging.
• Collaborate with other engineers to ensure reliable operation of EV components.
• Apply AUTOSAR-based software development and embedded C/C++ on microcontrollers.
