Job summary

RDT Sweden AB is seeking an experienced Electrical Harness & Hardware Design Engineer for an on-site assignment in Södertälje, Sweden. You will join an electrical design team working on vehicle electrical systems, contributing to schematic design and 3D design throughout the project lifecycle.

You will collaborate with mechanical design, production, workshop, purchasing and other cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality electrical solutions.

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in electrical harness and hardware design.
• Hands-on experience with CATIA V5, Saber ESD and OAS.
• Good command of English.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical harnesses and hardware for vehicle electrical systems.
• Work with electrical schematics and 3D design.
• Collaborate with mechanical design, production, workshop, purchasing and other stakeholders.
• Take ownership of design tasks from project initiation through development, testing and final delivery.
• Manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced engineering environment.
• Support activities at nearby test centres when required.
