Job summary

Astek Sweden is seeking an experienced Electrical Harness & Hardware Design Engineer to create electrical systems and wiring harnesses for heavy vehicles. You will work with a second electrical designer and partner with Mechanical Design, Workshop and Purchasing to translate customer needs into buildable solutions.

You should have a degree in Electrical Engineering with 2–3 years of electrical design experience and be fluent in Swedish and English.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of electrical design experience.
• Experience with client assignments.
• Fluent in Swedish and English.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems and wiring harnesses in both schematics and 3D.
• Develop and update solutions for custom orders.
• Collaborate with Mechanical Design, Workshop, Production and Purchasing.
• Take ownership of tasks and support the team as needed.
