RDT Sweden AB is seeking an experienced Electrical Harness & Hardware Design Engineer for an on-site assignment in Södertälje, Sweden. You will join an electrical design team working on vehicle electrical systems, contributing to schematic design and 3D design throughout the project lifecycle.

You will collaborate with mechanical design, production, workshop, purchasing and other cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality electrical solutions.

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in electrical harness and hardware design.
• Hands-on experience with CATIA V5, Saber ESD and OAS.
• Good command of English.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

You will collaborate closely with mechanical design, production, workshop, purchasing and other cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality electrical solutions.

• Collaborate with mechanical design, production, workshop, purchasing and other stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in electrical harness and hardware design.
• Hands-on experience with CATIA V5, Saber ESD and OAS.
• Good command of English.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Meritorious Qualifications

• Experience with Siemens Capital.
• Experience with FRAS.
• Knowledge of Swedish.
• Broader experience in automotive electrical system design.

Additional Information

• Work arrangement: Fully on-site.
• Occasional travel to nearby test centres may be required.
• The assignment covers the project lifecycle, from initial design through completion and delivery.
