Job summary

Kirby Group Engineering is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead engineering activities on a construction project in Sweden. You will coordinate design with on-site installation through commissioning, ensuring alignment with Kirby’s values and project goals.

Requirements include a 3rd level Electrical Engineering degree, 7+ years' project experience, and expertise with LV/MV systems, design guides, and submittals.

Qualifications

• 3rd level Qualification in Electrical Engineering / Building Services Engineering.
• 7+ years of project engineering experience in construction.
• LV and MV systems experience in building services and data centres.
• Knowledge of Design Guides, Codes and Standards (BS7671/EN/IEC).
• Experience developing technical submittals and design reviews.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate with clients and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering design and design management tasks on projects.
• Coordinate technical design with onsite installation and commissioning.
• Review and validate cable sizing and technical submittals.
• Liaise with design teams and supply chain for plant operation and handover.
• Mentor junior engineers and ensure QA/EHS compliance.
• Provide off-site technical support to construction teams.
