Job summary

Kirby Group Engineering Sweden seeks an Electrical Engineer to lead engineering design on a construction project. You will coordinate technical design with on-site installation and work with the BIM team to ensure constructibility and space for equipment and cabling.

You will apply current regulations and standards, review design with suppliers and contractors, and mentor junior engineers while delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget.

Qualifications

• 3rd level qualification in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
• Experience with LV and MV systems in building services/data centre environments.
• Knowledge of Design Guides, Codes of Practice, IEC BS7671, Building Regulations and EN/IEC Standards.
• Experience with Amtech, Dialux, AutoCAD 2D and MS Office.
• Experience interacting with clients, vendors and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Complete electrical design reviews to identify gaps or deviations.
• Validate cable sizing and provide recommendations.
• Ensure technical assessments are completed and issues resolved promptly.
• Compile and issue electrical submittals.
• Manage submittals, procurements and deliveries of equipment.
• Attend supply chain meetings to monitor progress and align with construction schedule.
• Coordinate with BIM team to ensure constructibility and space availability.
• Liaise with design team and suppliers to ensure proper operation and handover.
• Lead design and design management tasks within projects.
