Job summary

Kirby Group Engineering is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer based in Sweden to lead electrical design activities on a construction project. You will coordinate with the BIM team, suppliers, and site teams to ensure constructible designs and timely commissioning in line with Kirby’s values.

You will manage design development, prepare technical submittals, and lead pre-construction activities while mentoring junior engineers and aligning with health, safety, and quality standards across

Qualifications

• 3rd level qualification in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
• Experience with LV and MV systems in building services or data centres.
• Knowledge of Design Guides, Codes of Practice, IEC/EN standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Complete electrical design reviews to identify gaps and deviations.
• Validate cable sizing and make recommendations.
• Manage submittals through approvals and coordinate procurement and delivery of equipment.
• Lead design and design management tasks on projects within an integrated team.
• Mentor junior engineers and graduates.
