Job summary

Kirby Group Engineering is seeking an Electrical Engineer based in Sweden to take responsibility for engineering activities on a construction project. You will coordinate technical design with on-site installation and ensure successful commissioning in line with Kirby’s standards.

The role requires experience with LV/MV systems in building services or data centres, strong communication skills, and the ability to work with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver projects safely, on time and within

Qualifications

• 3rd level qualification in Electrical Engineering / Building Services Engineering.
• Experience with LV and MV systems primarily in building services and data centres.
• Knowledge of current Design Guides, Codes of Practice, EN/IEC standards.
• Experience in Amtech, Dialux, AutoCAD 2D and MS Office Suite.
• Experience of client, vendor & contractor interaction & management.
• Significant Project engineering experience of 7+ years ideally in a construction environment.
• Commercial awareness.
• Ability to multi-task and manage many priorities.

Responsibilities

• Complete electrical design review to identify design gaps and deviations or contradictions in the specifications.
• Validate cable sizing and make recommendations as appropriate.
• Coordinate with BIM team to ensure constructible design and space for installation and maintenance.
• Compile and issue electrical submittals and manage approvals and procurement tracking.
• Lead commissioning with specialist vendors to ensure timely completion.
• Mentor and coach junior engineers and graduates.
