Job summary

Veikkaus Oy in Finland (with flexible Sweden/Malta location) is seeking a Senior Digital Analyst, Sports to join the Digital Channels Insight team. You will gather business requirements, align analytics priorities with Product Owners, and coordinate with data/tech teams to deliver end-to-end analytics for web and app.

You will measure engagement, conversion, and feature performance across sports; you will provide timely reporting, guide data-driven decisions, and train others in analytics best

Qualifications

• 4+ years international experience in a similar digital analytics role.
• Hands-on experience across web, mobile and desktop as well as native app channels.
• GA4 experience; experience with other digital analytics tools is an advantage.
• Experience gathering business requirements and coordinating digital analytics projects with business, data, and technology teams.
• Ability to analyse customer journeys, funnels, engagement, feature performance, and experimentation results, translating findings into actionable recommendations.
• Strong reporting and communication skills, with the ability to explain analytical findings clearly to different stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple requirements, and deliver against agreed priorities.
• Experience in the iGaming industry is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Gather business requirements and priorities for Sports digital analytics, coordinating with central data and technology teams to ensure end to end delivery.
• Deliver timely, accurate, and relevant reporting and insights that meet high quality standards and support business decisions.
• Manage tracking requirements for digital interactions across journeys, collaborating with central teams on implementation, validation, and data quality.
• Monitor engagement, usage, and retention across web and app channels, analyzing user actions, clickstream data, and behavioral patterns.
• Analyze digital funnels, conversion paths, and customer journeys to identify abandonment, drop-off points, and opportunities for improvement.
• Measure the performance of products and features, helping product and design teams assess success and prioritize improvements.
• Track search engines visibility and landing page performance to identify opportunities to improve digital discovery and conversion.
• Analyze A/B test results and assess the impact of experiments, new features, and releases.
• Collaborate with product, design, and CX teams to define success metrics, communicate actionable insights, and support tracking best practices.
• Provide internal training on web and app analytics and propose improvements to analytics processes, methods, and ways of working.

Senior Digital Analyst

We're looking for a Senior Digital Analyst, Sports to join our Digital Channels Insight team and contribute to elevating customer engagement across our digital web and app channels. You'll gather business requirements and agree analytics priorities with Business Product Owners, coordinating with central data and technology teams to ensure end to end delivery. You'll maintain and develop web and app analytics, deliver accurate reporting, and guide translating customer behavior and digital performance data into actionable insights. Working closely with product, design, and CX teams, you'll measure engagement, conversion, and the performance of Sports features.

Qualifications And Experience

• Practical experience with Google Analytics 4 (GA4); experience with other digital analytics tools is an advantage.
• Experience gathering business requirements and coordinating digital analytics projects with business, data, and technology teams.
• Ability to analyse customer journeys, funnels, engagement, feature performance, and experimentation results, translating findings into actionable recommendations.
• Strong reporting and communication skills, with the ability to explain analytical findings clearly to different stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple requirements, and deliver against agreed priorities.
• Experience in the iGaming industry is highly valued.
