LeoVegas Mobile Gaming Group in Stockholm is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Tiger Sportsbook Team and help drive growth with scalable, real‑time betting services.

You will design, implement, and operate microservices across UI/Backend, collaborating with product managers, architects, QA, and developers to deliver robust, observable systems. Experience in high‑volume trading platforms is a plus.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software development experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience designing microservices, Kubernetes, containerization (Docker), and Kafka messaging systems.
• Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases and caching.
• Implementing resilience patterns (retries, circuit breakers, graceful degradation).
• Designing and maintaining monitoring dashboards and alerts to proactively detect issues.
• Hands‑on experience developing highly scalable RESTful end‑to‑end microservices.

ABOUT THE ROLE

LeoVegas Group is building a world‑class team dedicated to creating the best Sportsbook platform in the market through cutting‑edge technology and innovative gaming experiences. This dynamic team will develop new, cool features and integrate them into LeoVegas platforms.

We are recruiting for our Tiger Sportsbook Team. In Sportsbook we work in a high‑volume, real‑time environment, integrating data feeds with our modern trading system and transactional betting platform (UI/Backend). Your contributions will cover maintaining and expanding our current Betting/Trading services as well as building new services and capabilities for our users.

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

OUR SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

• 6+ Years of software development experience with Java, Spring Boot, and event‑driven architectures.
• Experience designing microservices, Kubernetes, containerization (Docker), and Kafka messaging systems.
• Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases and caching.
• Implementing resilience patterns (e.g., retries, circuit breakers, graceful degradation).
• Designing and maintaining monitoring dashboards (metrics, logs, traces) and alerts to proactively detect issues.
• Hands‑on experience developing highly scalable RESTful end‑to‑end microservices.

NICE TO HAVES

• Familiarity with reactive programming (e.g., RxJava) and Vert.x would be a big plus.
• Experience in platforms like AWS and Google Cloud Platform.
• Online gaming and gambling experience.
