Job summary

RDT Engineers Sweden AB is seeking an experienced Senior Data Scientist to lead Marketing Mix Modelling efforts at a global scale. The role focuses on building and validating econometric models, guiding methodologies, and translating results into business insights.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in MMM/econometrics, with strong Python or R skills, and can challenge modelling assumptions. The position is remote-first with periodic onsite collaboration in Malmö, Sweden, and involves close work

Qualifications

• 5+ years building and validating MMM/econometric models in commercial settings.
• Strong knowledge of adstock, diminishing returns, saturation, ROI derivation.
• Experience with holdout testing, out-of-sample validation and forecast evaluation.
• Strong Python or R for production-grade modelling and simulation.

Responsibilities

• Co-create the analytical and modelling approach for a global MMM programme.
• Define modelling frameworks and variable structures across markets.
• Build, validate and challenge Marketing Mix Models using advanced econometrics.
• Evaluate modelling approaches including adstock and ROI derivation.
• Review models and outputs from external modelling partners.
• Lead deep-dive analyses across countries, channels and campaigns.
• Develop and maintain methodology documentation and analytical standards.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders in Marketing, Finance, Analytics and Business teams.
