Job summary

Vend is seeking a hands-on, product-minded Data Scientist to join the Department of AI. You will develop and experiment with ML and AI systems that shape user experiences and business models across Vend’s marketplaces.

You will collaborate with vertical teams and help build AI-native products such as Finn Søkelys and discovery experiences, while contributing to internal data science education and materials.

Qualifications

• Experience in Data Science and Machine Learning with practical model-building
• Familiar with large language models in data science practice
• Innovative and collaborative; apply DS principles to products
• Business-minded; identify AI opportunities to improve products/services
• Flexible and comfortable with change

Responsibilities

• Collaborate in cross-functional teams with AI, design, product, engineering and business experts to create AI-native products
• Contribute to AI-native product development as part of Vend's Department of AI
• Work on projects like Finn Søkelys, AI-based job matching, and AI-driven discovery experiences
• Lead or contribute to Data Science courses and workshops for other employees
